Picture Blast
A simple game that shows one word at a time.
The most straightforward of the Playwords games, Picture Blast shows a new word every time the Questions book is tapped.
Your child can try to read the word on their own — aided by the illustration — and then tap the Answers book to hear the correct answer.
Word Match
A challenge to choose the word that matches the illustration.
Word Match speaks a word out loud, presents a corresponding illustration, and gives four possible answers for the correct word.
The game proceeds when your child taps the correct answer.
Get five correct answers in a row to earn a sticker or stamp.
Lost Letter
A simple spelling game where kids are asked to fill in the missing letter in a word.
The most challenging of the games, Lost Letter removes a random letter from a word, and asks the child to choose the correct answer from one of four options.
As with Word Match, getting five correct answers in a row earns stickers and stamps.

Unfortunately, there are almost none of the good programs in the app store, that will actually break the process of reading down to elements and have a decent collection of words.
